Sorry for the very long wait, I won't bore you with details on my RL. The Artist special: Lia rotation (#108) is now up for your listening pleasure! I've also decided to close requests permanently; my playlist is getting huge and therefore more work for me. From now on The.J-Beat will be an mp3 rotation without requests. =)

The new rotation (#103) has finally been uploaded! This rota is actually a bit of a cheat- I just used one of my random playlists I listen to when I feel like. Originally this playlist (#23/25 random PLs) has 30 songs, I rotated one of them last time so there are 29 mp3's up for download this week~!
I hope this will make up for my absence while recovering from my operation. Wish me luck!

I've finally gotten my preadmission date to go into hospital to have these gallstones removed! So, I will try and get a new rota uploaded this week (or before the 31st July). I won't know how long I'll be out-of-order for; so I'll be putting The.J-Beat on an undefined hiatus.

I've uploaded rotation #98 - you'll all be pleased to hear that I have gone back to my picks! I know last rota wasn't for everybody, but I wanted to do a layout special ^_^v Anyways, like I said I have uploaded my picks of the week- I've been a bit behind on getting up-to-date releases so I hope I can catch up sooner rather than later!! Finally back on track! I know this layout is a little... bright-on-dark so if the is any problems with text or colours just add a comment ^^ Beside the new layout change I've uploaded the new rotation; #97 is layout themed AND my picks (because Lucky Star music may not be to everyone's taste XD). To get to my pickn'mix tracks just scroll down past the Lucky Star selections. Enjoy minna-san! Quick update! – I'm so not on schedule; I planned on uploading the new layout and new rotation last weekend.. to say it didn't quite work out that way is an understatement! Sorry minna-san, my other domain is having BIG problems and when you host over 30 sites they have to be my first priority. Hopefully I’ll be able to get the database working again and any lost info from the crash. So please bear with me for a while longer! Thanks.

I just want to take a moment to thank you all for your patience and understanding. We suffered a loss of a close family member back in October, and with respect I really didn't feel like doing much with my sites much less come online. Thanks once again.
Back on track, I've decided to upload rotation #96 before going onto another static hiatus over the Christmas holidays. I shall be back in the New Year with a new layout and an anime series special. So do look out for new updates sometime after the 2nd of January 2008!

I really appreciate all the comments left last rota, it really made my day coming back to find all my efforts are being taken in appreciation and aren't all just for the leechers who don't bother to leave a simple "Thank You"

*Falls down* I've finally gotten rotation #90 Bishôujo Senshi Sailor Moon Series Special uploaded! With just over 30 mp3's in this rota; I really hope this was worth the wait! I do have to warn all of you with slow connections that it may load slowly in this case! Please please comment on this—I have spent a lot of time on this and I don't offer ANY of my Sailor Moon mp3's for request so this really is a "special" treat!
Requesting will be closed until further notice, I have decided to do my own rotations for a while- we seem to be getting repetitive requests and you guys want to see more variety right?! I'll be doing different series specials, artists’ specials and my choice selections for the next 10 rotations that should take us up to #100! It will also give me enough time to get the playlist updated with the changes from the poll results-which you can view below. Take note that some artist discographies will take a lot of work to add! We have a new affie, check em out!

W00t~! Rotation #89 has now been uploaded and is ready for your leeching/listening pleasure! This week we have a range of choices with a lot of good Rie fu and another PV-Rip release, this time of YUI's My Generation the single won't be out until June 13th! And because Nixie asked after it, the dub theme from Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon R Movie. Please do enjoy minna-san!
Updated additions added to the playlist include Utada Hikaru's latest Kiss & Cry (Radio Edit) the quality is good at 192kbps, the single still has no release date so this is the best I can offer for the time being! I really like the song, if you play it right after or even before Hikki's Hotel Lobby (UTADA) you'll hear they sound a lot alike ^_~

Slightly different from the norm, this weeks new rotation is now available for download~! As far as variety goes this time around we have a mix of genres; including the ever talented Angela Aki with a PV-Rip (192kbps) of her new single Kodoku no Kakera (title song) a gorgeous balled——I highly recommend it! [Note: the official release of the single will be out on the 23rd so please support her ne?!] And especially for JP and Nixie (my good'ol regulars) there is more KOKIA! New additions also added to the playlist they include "one" of my favourite Jrock bands abingdon boys school~!

Rotation #86 is up minna-san! (At last! I hear you all say~!) I didn't get around to adding much to the playlist this update, but I should be getting around to it again (hopefully) this week. I've decided to contribute to the rota by adding my picks; this way you all get a variety of songs~ using a randomness "whatever is on my playlist at the time" theme. That may also include the occasional mp3(s) that aren't up for request on the playlist, so that is a bonus! I've added a few updates to the playlist, I plan on adding more new mp3's this weekend. W00t! Rotation #82 is over due, but is now up for download! More new mp3's have been added to the playlist; including another of my favourite artists, Miz! Her music has a more rock!pop style and she uses both Japanese and English lyrics in many of her songs (a bit like Rei fu, with a little Do As Infinity mixed, shakin', but not stirred!). I've featured one of her more known songs this rotation In the Sky, which was used as the theme song for the PS2 game Grandia III. Phew! The.J-Beat has finally reopened after a very long static hiatus. Welcome to version 0.4 complete with new updates and additions galore!!
